Statement of Tribute: My brother was a passionate, loving man who adored his wife, children and grandchildren. He was beloved by so many! He was at home when the ascending dissection occurred. His wife called 911 and they got him to the ER and into surgery within a short time of his initial collapse. He had the exact same dissection as our Dad; the surgical team worked hard to replace the aorta yet he was unable to survive the surgery. We honor his memory by living our lives with faith and passion, and raising awareness about this devastating disorder.
